Real wedding: A tipi wedding in Cornwall with a Maggie Sottero wedding dress
Their decor for the day included blues and yellows, to mirror the coastline, while their tipi wedding venue was awash with fairy lights and suspended floral decor for a truly ambient and magical feel.
Katrina looked beautiful in an off-the-shoulder wedding dress, and Nick was dapper in his top hat and tails.

The Cornwall wedding venue
Katrina and Nick held their wedding ceremony at St Michael's Church in Rock.

"The church is located on the water with views across to Padstow," says Katrina.

"It was important to us to get married by the sea, and the location had particular meaning for us as my parents live in Padstow and Nick’s mother grew up on the Rock side of the estuary, in St Tudy."

READ MORE: The Y&YW guide to Church of England weddings

The tipi wedding reception
The reception was held at Porthilly Farm, in a field right next to the church, which meant the guests could walk from one to the other.

"We were originally planning to put a marquee on the site but then we discovered Wild Tipi, who provided three giant tipis and created a magical space, dressed in fairy lights and foliage," says Katrina.
