Real Wedding: A Botanical Themed Wedding with a Jesus Peiro Wedding Dress
They decorated the marquee with endless luscious greenery, for a botanical luxe theme, bringing the outside in - all the more dramatic thanks to the glass wall of the marquee, allowing guests to gaze out at the rolling fields.

James and Hannah's fun-packed first date was a pub crawl in Brixton, after meeting on Tinder.

"We both knew within five minutes of meeting that we had found the one," says Hannah. "James' best man jokes that it was love at first swipe!"

James popped the question on a cosy night in, in front of the telly.

"There was no big surprise; we always knew we'd get married, and I was five months pregnant at this point!"

The wedding planner
Hannah and James had a little helping hand when it came to planning their big day, calling in the assistance of wedding planner Kim Balasubramaniam.

"Hiring Kim was by far the most amazing decision we ever made. Her warm and easy-going nature made us feel we were entirely in control and not pressured. She understood better than anyone (maybe even James!) exactly what I was trying to create and the look and running of everything on the day was even better than my wildest dreams of how our wedding would be."

READ MORE: Questions you need to ask your wedding planner
Hannah and James held their ceremony at a local church, followed by a reception at Hannah's parents' home.

"It was always my dream to have a wedding at home. I couldn't imagine wearing my wedding dress and not walking out of my parents' house."

The couple erected a marquee in the garden, and adorned it with lush greenery and gorgeous foliage.

READ MORE: Top 25 country house wedding venues
"Our wedding colours were mainly green and white, with accents of pink and gold," says Hannah. " I was keen to have a botanical feel to the wedding, and wanted to use lots of tropical foliage rather than traditional flowers."
"The marquee and bar area were purely foliage; the bar was covered in cheese plant leaves and there was a chandelier made of cheese plant leaves in the main marquee," Hannah continues.
The tables and chairs
"We chose wooden tables and chairs to add to the natural, outside-in feel of the marquee," explains Hannah.

"We decorated our long tables with sage green linen table runners, and napkins and large glass charger plates with beautiful gold stud design around the outside. We used a combination of clear, green and gold edged cut glasses to give an eclectic and botanical feel to the place settings. The tables had no flowers just a mixture of small pot plants in beautiful vases and succulents in terrariums scattered with tea lights in different glass holders."
The unique table plan
Succulents were a theme that ran throughout the day.

"Our wedding favours were small homemade terrariums which me and the bridesmaids made on the days before the wedding. On the day we arranged them in rustic wooden crates on cast iron shelves with guests names stuck in each plant on wooden sticks to resemble botanical plant labels, these also told guests which table they were seated at."

If you love this table plan idea, check out our article on unique table plans for even more inspiration.
Hannah and James didn't want their tables to be too fussy, so stuck with simple numbers for their tables, which they cut out of sparkling copper card and attached to sticks, before embedding them in the pots of their lovely greenery.

"It took us forever to cut them out but it was important that we had some homemade bits," says Hannah. "Although it was a big wedding we were really keen that it felt informal and homemade."

READ MORE: 20 creative ways to DIY your wedding
The wedding stationery
Hannah and James' botanical theme appeared on their stationery too, created by Abigail Warner.

"Abigail designed us a beautiful bespoke wedding stationery suite including menus and place settings. Our envelopes had a lovely botanical print so they looked beautiful as soon as they landed on guests' door mats."
The wedding cake
James and Hannah's impressive five tier wedding cake had more flavours than you could possibly dream of, comprising lemon, carrot, banana and salted caramel.

Created by Cakes by Krishanthi, it was decorated with sugar flowers, and the couple opted to light it up with bespoke lighting to make a lovely feature out of it.
The donut wall
A wedding cake wasn't the only sweet treat on offer on the day; Hannah and James also had a donut wall, adorned with brightly coloured ring donuts, courtesy of Vicky's Donuts.

READ MORE: Best ways to display your wedding sweets and edible favours
The wedding dress
Hannah purchased her Jesus Peiro wedding dress from Miss Bush Bridal.

"I first went wedding dress shopping six weeks after giving birth to our daughter, and even with my recent post-baby figure, as soon as I tried on that dress I felt amazing," shares Hannah.

She went for a halterneck wedding dress with a dramatic high collar, and a deep plunging neckline.

"My grandmother wore a high collared dress for her wedding and I had always thought it looked elegant, however the original idea I had for my wedding dress was entirely different from what I ended up with, I think until you try dresses on you don’t know what will suit you."
Statement wedding shoes
Hannah went all out when it came to her w-day footwear, choosing a show stopping pair of silver Saint Laurent platforms.

READ MORE: How to pick your wedding shoes

The most memorable moment
"Walking into the marquee to the amazing Hot 8 Brass Band, playing Sexual Healing. The whole tent was like a huge party and it gives me goosebumps to hear that song now,' reminisces Hannah.
