Real Wedding: A spring wedding in London with a Pronovias dress
The decorations and colour palette were left very minimal, to showcase the season's breathtaking flowers, and Virginia's stunning Pronovias mermaid style gown.
The venue was the perfect place to spotlight the couples' personal touches including their unique DIY's and various musical entertainment.

Virginia and Tom decided to get married at Ardwell Church.

This venue “lies on the estate next to Tom’s family home.

The location of the church is perfect and it’s stunning. We were so thrilled to keep everything local” says the couple.
The couple decided to celebrate their marriage in Tom’s family home because of the many memories they have there as a couple.

Coopers Marquees supplied a beautiful marquee set with glass walls and a transparent roof so that guests could enjoy the stunning gardens and house throughout the reception.
The overall theme for the beautiful day in May was simple and elegant, with touches of greens, whites, and various accents of antique brass.

As the flowers were in full bloom, it was unnecessary to add additional colours to the wedding.
To fit in with the rural setting, these newlyweds decided to use the estate Gun Bus towed by a tractor to transport their wedding party.

“We had a lot of fun decorating the tractor with flowers and bunting to make it look pretty” says Virginia.
Virginia wore a beautiful Pronovias mermaid style dress bought at Mirror Mirror.

The wonderful staff at Mirror Mirror pushed Virginia out of her comfort zone to try on the mermaid style crepe skirt with a sheer illusion tulle bodice rebrode lace appliques.

“The elegant silhouette and delicate lace were beautiful and I knew that the dress would work perfectly with the overall theme.”
The Bridesmaids Dresses
The bridesmaid dresses were the Hayley Paige Sydney dress bought at Nabbd.

The bride says, “originally, I’d planned that the girls could wear any style they liked as long as it was the same colour and fabric, but Polly suggested one that everyone loved, so it was an easy decision and they all looked beautiful.”
The best wedding idea the couple had at their wedding was the choice to have many music acts throughout the day.

The day started with bagpipes at church, then moved to Clanadonia, a Drum & Pipe band for drinks during the reception.

While dinner was served, there was a jazz guitarist playing, and the night concluded with a DJ playing for the rest of the night. The couple was happy with their choice, as “the music changes were great punctuation points for the day, changing the mood and the atmosphere for our guests.”
The Wedding Day
The couples’ favourite part of their day was spending it surrounded with their close friends and family, this left the bride feeling both overwhelmed and special on her day.
