Most couples are happy with a few traditional wedding pictures, perhaps holding hands and gazing into the distance or kissing.
These daredevil newlyweds however took their "till death do us part" vows very literally for their photos… when the groom dangled his bride over a cliff edge.
Christie Sulkoski and Kevin Coleman were lowered onto a spot 350ft above the frown in the White Mountains in New Hampshire, US.
They were then secured with a hidden anchor (thankfully) before the bride held her new husband's hand while hanging off the cliff, in her white wedding dress and still holding her bouquet - no mean feat.
Photographer Jay Philbrick took the snaps, and said that couples ask for similar shoots surprisingly often.
He said, "I am often hanging off the side of the cliff to the side, right above, or even on the same ledge as them".
And we thought holding giant balloons was exciting enough.
