Changes to the law could make your wedding much cheaper

This week’s budget from the Government revealed plans to change the laws surrounding outdoor weddings; at present, law states that couples are unable to have outdoor weddings unless it takes place in a structure with a solid, permanent roof with a designated licence.

The proposed changes will look at giving couples more choice on where they hold their wedding and could mean restrictions are lifted on outdoor locations - so if you’re dreaming of a beach wedding or a wedding in an enchanted forest setting, you could be in luck

The idea behind Chancellor Philip Hammond’s proposal to relax these restrictions is to reduce the costs of getting married, boost the wedding industry and support more people to get married.

Anything that helps us save money on our wedding sounds good to us!
