WHERE

Just outside the university city of Cambridge, Hotel Felix is a stylish Victorian hotel with boutique interiors, huge windows and wish-we-could-take-them-home-with-us works of art
on the walls. It’s set in three acres of gardens with a pretty gazebo for al fresco weddings. Head into town to mess about on the river in a punt (that’s a flat boat with a pole!), and follow with a romantic picnic by the River Cam.

WHY

The little touches at this hotel really wowed – fluffy bathrobes and The White Company toiletries in the rooms, and the most relaxing massage we’ve ever had.

WINE & DINE

The food is the standout element here. Graffiti is a bright, modern restaurant with lovely views over the hotel’s grounds, excellent service and dreamy desserts. There’s also a stylish bar with leather chairs to sink into while you watch the staff shake up a storm with their creative cocktails.
