As soon as you arrive at this beautiful 90-acre estate, you’ll be in awe
of its grandeur. This Grade I-listed house was once home to royalty, and
the decadentinteriors are certainly fit for any king or queen.
The traditional-style bedrooms are opulent, vast and inviting, with a lovely,
comfortable feel. We loved our in-room seating area that looked out over
the gardens – the perfect spot for morning coffee.
Once you’ve explored the grounds, there are plenty of ways to relax here,
whether it’s curled up by the fire with a book, or being pampered in the
gorgeous spa. We opted for a BioEffect facial and a few hours by the pool – bliss!
Champagne and canapés in the French drawing room are the perfect
pre-dinnertreat, but do save room for dessert, as the selection is divine.
