THE VIBE: Located a stones throw from South Kensington station, Aer Blow Dry Bar is a sweet escape from the madness of Central London. Immediately upon entering I feel at ease - leafy interiors surround the ceilings to create a tranquil, chilled atmosphere with an oh-so on trend Scandi vibe. An uber instagrammable sign is displayed on the far wall ('catch a breath of fresh aer'), and teamed with the subtle pink and white colour scheme, it's easy to see why this is the go-to salon for many beauty editors and bloggers alike.
It may not be the largest salon, but this only adds to Aer's charm. The experience feels personal and considered - the staff are professional and keen to make every aspect of your visit as enjoyable as possible. We discuss different styles at length, and eventually opt for big, bold waves with lots of volume to tame my mane.
BEST BRIDE-TO-BE TREATMENTS: Well it goes without saying that their blow dries are superb. If you're looking to refresh your hair for the hen night, or on the run up to the wedding, then I'd recommend the Oribe Masque Architect treatment. Activated by heat, the masque penetrates deep into the hair follicle, rebuilds and strengthens the hair fibre to leave your tresses shiny and smooth. The aim is to make the hair stronger to prevent future breakage and split ends - perfect for brides who want a little bit of extra protection for their locks on the run up to the big day. Team with one of their signature blow dries and you're on to a wedding day winner.
The salon also specialises in updos and a variety of braids - check out their Instagram for more inspiration! Fancy a little something extra? Try threading, eyelash treatments, or treat yourself to a mani/pedi - it's your one stop shop to get glammed up before the big day.

WHO GOES: Aer Blow Dry Bar is a favourite amongst UK and international influencers (Rosa Crespo, Maja Malner, Chessie King to name just a few) and Kate Moss' little sister Lottie Moss visited a few days before me. Described by Tatler as 'Where Sloane's get their blow dries', the salon wouldn't look out of place on an episode of Made In Chelsea.
